Culture Night a Resounding Success in Brussels!

As part of Culture Night Belfast on 18th September, an event now in its 7th year which attracts crowds of thousands, the Brussels Office put on its own showcase of Northern Ireland’s talent, which was a resounding success.

Alice McCullough, a talented new poet from Belfast performed a selection of her works; the audience hung onto every word, enchanted by her incredibly honest, witty and engaging delivery.

Ursula Burns, otherwise known as ‘the world’s most dangerous harpist’, then took to the stage to perform a highly original set of musical comedy which had the audience singing along and literally crying with laughter.

Many thanks to chef Paula McIntyre for providing the recipe for a traditional Northern Irish stew which was devoured by our guests, who enjoyed this fine display of Northern Ireland’s culinary excellence and artistic flair.
