The Historic Environment Record of Northern Ireland (HERoNI), which is part of the Department for Communities, will host a series of lectures delivered by professional archaeologists, architects and historians to highlight various aspects of local heritage from Northern Ireland. The six lectures, which run between September 2020 and June 2021, provide insight into local Northern Ireland heritage, archaeology and more. The first lecture “I see you, rider: An assessment of the lack of artefactual evidence of early medieval equitation” will be hosted by Dr Rena Maguire, Archaeologist, Visiting Research Fellow, Queen’s University Belfast on Friday 21st at 1pm, and will also be available on Zoom.
