Join Northern Ireland authors Susan McKay and Ian Marshall as they reflect on their contributions to the fifth volume of 'Britain & Ireland: Lives Entwined'. The event will feature readings from the authors, a panel discussion and Q&A moderated by Sir Ciarán Devane, along with contributions from Lynsey Moore, Eamonn Mac Aodha and Rory O'Donnell.

Ian Marshall will share his thoughts on Northern Ireland’s ‘Relationships, Realities and Representation’ while Susan McKay will read and discuss her piece entitled ‘Being more Lyra’ on the life and death of Northern Ireland journalist Lyra McKee.

‘Britain & Ireland: Lives Entwined’ is a fifth-volume series of essays exploring the complex web of relations that exist between Britain and Ireland. The latest edition, ‘Lives Entwined V’, focuses on the theme of ‘Shifting Borders, Shifting Identity’ and is a collection of 10 essays reflecting on the current context of change on the islands.
