Incredible Wee Story:

by Wendy Erskine

Listen to author Wendy Erskine read a summer-themed extract from one of her short stories 'Secrets, Bonita Beach, Crystal Cancun'. This story is part of the collection 'Dance Move' which will be published in 2022 by Stinging Fly and Picador. The story describes two very different holidays - one being a trip to Portrush which will likely bring back fond memories for many of our readers in NI.

Incredible People:

Read about Lisa's impressive back catalogue, as well as the inspiration behind the hit comedy Derry Girls, which was based partly on Lisa's teenage years.

Incredible Makers:

Michael Brown

Michael Brown
Michael Brown is an oil painter and printmaker working in the impressionist tradition, focusing primarily on landscapes. Michael finds a constant source of inspiration for his creativity in the Fermanagh landscape. He is also a landscape photographer and filmmaker.
Michael's focus on social and environmental issues regularly takes him all around the world as a facilitator for marginalised communities to speak out on issues that directly affect them. Back home Michael continues this work, exploring and documenting the heritage of local communities through film, including this communiqué to the G8 leaders in 2013.
