This week we have another original piece written and read by Paul McVeigh. A summer's dream in Northern Ireland with a touch of reality. Paul began his writing career as a playwright and comedy writer. His debut novel, The Good Son, won The Polari First Novel Prize and The McCrea Literary Award as well as being shortlisted for many others including The Prix du Roman Cezam.

Bernadette Collins

Bernadette Collins is a senior Formula One Strategy Engineer from Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. She works with the Racing Point F1 team, where she travels to every event in the championship and often makes decisions on a lap basis to help her team win as many points as possible.

Incredible Makers:

Deborah Toner

Belfast-based designer Deborah Toner has a background in architecture which helps her to create beautiful embroidered pieces for the home. All of her designs are machine stitched on locally woven Irish linen.
Deborah has been inspired by buildings and landmarks of Belfast, many of which have been the subject of her work: Belfast Skyline, City Hall, Albert Clock, Samson and Goliath. More recently Deborah has begun to include iconic Northern Ireland scenes in her work such as the Giant's Causeway and Scrabo Tower, as well as embroidering maps and cityscapes from all around the world.
