Dear colleagues and friends,

This week the team are delighted to bring you more wonderful ideas on how you can experience highlights of Northern Ireland from your home.

Starting with the Game of Thrones Tour online which brings you virtually through some of the incredible landscapes across Northern Ireland where this worldwide phenomenon was filmed. With beautiful weather anticipated in both Belgium and Northern Ireland, why not enjoy the sunshine with one of the fantastic food or cocktail recipes using our famous Shortcross Gin brought to you by the County Down based Rademon Estate Distillery. You can also sample the finest Northern Ireland literature including C.S. Lewis and Seamus Heaney with Discover Northern Ireland’s list of leading NI books and poetry collections. Finally, although ‘Translink Ulster in Bloom’ cannot take place this year, we are pleased that you can still view some of the beautiful flowers and creations with #UlsterinBloom’s digital display.

We hope you enjoy this week's selection and that you and your loved ones are safe and well. As always, do not hesitate to get in touch, we are looking forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,
Lynsey Moore, Director.

Homegrown ‘#UlsterinBloom’

Since 2006 the annual ‘Translink Ulster in Bloom’ competition has been organised in co-ordination with the Northern Ireland Local Government Association, to celebrate the horticultural achievements of NI communities. This year’s competition is replaced by a digital showcase of ‘Homegrown’ flower creations on the Translink FB page. The amazing work by communities will also get shown under the hashtag #Ulsterinbloom on Twitter and entries can be made by simply tagging @Translink_NI and @NI_LGA.
