In this week’s Newsletter, we are delighted to showcase Northern Ireland arts, food, tourism and music. We present the 58th International Arts Festival which will run from 12th October until 1st November, and will feature a wide range of events including music, dance, theatre and discussion. You also have the opportunity to embrace the Giant Spirit of Northern Ireland; as well as a music event live from the Roe Valley Cultural and Arts Centre in Limavady.

As you sit down to view these wonderful events why not treat yourself to some Northern Ireland produce from Tayto and Food Stories whose snacks are now available in selected supermarkets across Belgium.

Belfast International Arts Festival

The 58th Belfast International Arts Festival (BIAF) has launched with an imaginative and inspirational programme. The festival, which runs from the 12th October to 1st November, will feature a vast and varied array of events including dance, music, theatre, film, visual arts and discussion which will be largely hosted online. The programme seeks to respond creatively to the current pandemic and explores contemporary matters of interest such as gender equality, multi-culturalism, representation, the climate crisis, and democracy. World famous Tayto will have their REAL crisps brand available to buy in 50 stores at Delhaize (AD & Proxi) and Carrefour (Mestdagh & Market & Express). Make sure to check out the range of flavours! For something healthy why not try Pinkfinch from the North Down based food company, Food Stories. They will have their Pinkfinch branded healthy snacks to buy in Colruyt supermarkets. Available across Belgium from October 2020.

Northern Lights Live Sessions present ‘Lore’

Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre’s Northern Lights Live Session present ‘Lore' live in Concert. Lore is a four piece indie-folk band whose members hail from counties Derry~Londonderry and Antrim. 'Lore' is taken from folklore and refers to the traditional art of storytelling including the story of life, love, loss and fate, one note at a time. Be sure to tune in to the Roe Valley Facebook page on Thursday 8th October at 8pm, and have a wonderful evening of music live from the Roe Valley auditorium.
