Slieve Binnian and Wee Binnian feature in Art Exhibition

This stunning painting is part of ‘The Mourne Analogues’ painted in 1983 by Cecil Maguire. The piece features in the 2020/21 art exhibition ‘All Creatures Giant and Small’ which is organised by the Office of Public Works and the Department of Finance, Northern Ireland. This partnership has been presenting annual art exhibitions since 1990 with a different theme and location each year. The theme this year focuses on the natural world and its interaction with humanity. Read more and view the collection here.

White Ribbon Anthem to support victims of Domestic Abuse

Pianist Ruth McGinley and Duke Special have co-written a new anthem ‘White Ribbon’. A powerful song performed by Jolene O’Hara and commissioned by Northern Ireland Opera in conjunction with Women’s Aid ABCLN and the Ulster Orchestra with the aim of supporting women who have been affected by domestic abuse. The #WhiteRibbonCampaign is now in its 30th year. Watch the short film about creating ‘White Ribbon’ here.

Creative Undoing: Art Exhibition by Carol Graham RUA

ArtisAnn Belfast present this amazing opportunity to view the latest collection by one of Ireland’s most renowned painters. Carol Graham is a well-established and critically acclaimed artist whose work is held in the permanent collections of the Arts Council NI and the Ulster Museum. This latest collection stems from her work in therapy groups and uses a mixture of photocopied fragments, acrylic, oil and other mixed media. View the collection here.
