The Four Seasons Omagh, ‘Winter’ Exhibition

Witness the talent of local photographers in Northern Ireland through this exhibition by Strule Arts Centre. Watch the video here, which show the beauty of winter in and around Omagh. This is the first of the Four Season Exhibition which is titled ‘Winter’, the project will run for the rest of the year, showcasing each of the different seasons.

Foyle Intercultural and Anti-Racism Festival

Returning for the 15th year, Foyle Film Intercultural and Anti-Racism Festival has an expanded programme of special events tackling a wide range of topics including: discrimination, prejudice, human rights abuse, inequality and environmental challenges. Through the power of film, the festival aims to embrace diversity while encouraging awareness of local and global issues. Running from 29 March to 25 April, you can register here.

Making the Future presents: 100 Shared Stories

Northern Ireland’s story is not one of a single community, but the shared story made up of the experiences of every individual. The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland will host 6 online sessions from 29 March to 28 April. They will discuss the shared history of Northern Ireland and how to preserve it, run cooking demos, share recipes and explore the role food plays in NI culture. Register here to take part.

Video Series: All Points North

All Points North is a video series presented by the All Points Team in collaboration with Belfast Electric Arts & Music Academy. The series brings singer songwriters, musicians and electronic artists to the forefront as they perform in venues of cultural and historical importance. Dive into the world of digital creation and explore the innovation of Northern Ireland’s creative industries and culture. Watch the man on the thinking behind the event, Anthony Toner, introducing the process of matching artists to venues. Listen again to the artists who once came to our office in Brussels; Hannah McPhillimy’s beautiful words and Ciara O’Neill’s music.

Easter Baking

The Ulster Folk Museum hold a fabulous collection of old recipes and cook books, dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries. The museum have put together a selection of seasonal recipes from the collection and you can click here for some Easter baking inspiration. The recipes include Easter Cakes, Hot Cross Buns, Spring Soup and Lemon Roll Pudding. Our mouths are watering already!
