EU Regions Driving Medicine Safety Online Event


Northern Ireland’s Medicines Optimisation Innovation Centre hosted an informative online event on 13th October 2020 that showcased cooperation among European Regions to improve medicine safety. The event took place during the European Week of Regions and Cities and attracted an audience from across 18 different countries.

Northern Ireland Health Minister, Robin Swann MLA, delivered the keynote speech before practitioners from Northern Ireland, Ireland, Estonia and Poland discussed how their regions have improved the use of medicines and the benefits of collaboration. The event also provided details of how to contact the Medicine Optimisation Innovation Centre if you are interested in collaboration.
