We were delighted to welcome a group of visiting QUB students to the office on 3 May as part of their European Study Trip. This was our first university visit to the Office since the beginning of the pandemic, more than two years ago. The students came from a range of courses from the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics but all share an interest in European affairs.
The students were greeted by Nuala McNamee, our deputy director, who gave them an overview on the role of the office and discussed the work that we do in Brussels. The subsequent discussion with the group focused on how we engage with the EU in the context of our new relationship.
We hope the QUB students had a productive visit to Brussels and enjoyed the rest of their programme. The Brussels Office would be pleased to discuss Study Tours with other Education organisations, especially those from Northern Ireland.
