European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) is the largest annual Brussels-based event dedicated to cohesion policy and will take place this year from 10-13 October 2022.
We are delighted to announce that we will be participating in this years #EURegionsWeek, alongside our European Partners from regions in Austria, Italy, Poland and Germany. We are hosting a hybrid event on the theme of “Youth Beyond Borders. How to overcome obstacles.”
In the European Year of Youth, the workshop will showcase reports from participating regions on cross-border youth projects and demonstrate how individual experiences may serve as a springboard for a more thorough discussion of common challenges and opportunities.
Angila Chada, Executive Director of Springboard Opportunities Ltd will provide the Northern Ireland perspective. She will discuss the vital work of the Peace4Youth ‘Journeys’ programme; a multi-outcome and cross-border programme which ran from 2017 until mid-2022, focusing on supporting participants to develop capabilities in areas of personal development, good relations and citizenship. Angila’s presentation will explore the key approaches that led to successful integration & transformation for partners and young people on the ‘Journeys’ programme.
The event will be held on 13 October 2022 from 11:30 to 13:00 at the Office of the Northern Ireland Executive in Brussels, Chaussée d’Etterbeek 180, 1040 Brussels.
As the event will be hybrid, participation will be possible both in-person and online. You can register for the event from 31st August via the following links
